XC Team Carpool
NOTE that when the school year starts, practices Monday thru Thursday are typically not held at the high school but at a nearby park. Coach Whalen will assign each team member that cannot drive to a team member with a license to take your athlete after school to the that day's practice location.
Order your XC Yard Signs at Think Signs
Signs can be ordered and paid for online at any time. It usually takes about three weeks until signs are ready. Families coordinate picking up their son's sign with the Think Signs company.

Senior Recognition at OHS Football Game
Senior Cross Country Team Members will be introduced along with their parents prior to the football game on TBD. Please plan to join your athlete to recognize their great accomplishments as a XC Athlete.
Senior Recognition at the Banquet
Our cross country end-of-the-season banquet for 2026 is TBD. Plan to display your son's poster in the cafeteria area before dessert begins. The awards portion of the night will be held in the theater (time TBD).

PLEASE BRING YOUR SENIOR'S POSTER TO THE YEAR-END BANQUET!
SENIOR POSTERS: For senior boys, we have set up Senior poster-making time with a company called "Candy Stampers." Candy, the owner, provides all the materials you need...you just have to bring pictures. We are offering three different poster-making nights specifically for our Senior families. Families can attend on whatever night is most convenient for you.
There is a $45 fee to create your Senior's poster/memory board with Candy Stampers. Payment information is outlined below. Candy has the most tricked out scrapbooking room you have ever seen and works out of her Home Studio at 2525 Carriage Road in Powell.
If you cannot make any of these dates/times, you have several options. You can contact Candy Stampers (contact info. below) and try to set up another time with her, you can buy a poster-making kit from Candy Stampers or you can just create any kind of poster you like on your own.
Please note:
-We have set up time with Candy Stampers as a courtesy to Senior parents, but it is not mandatory to attend a poster-making session
-Senior posters will be displayed at our end-of-the-year banquet (and possibly Senior Night too)
-Please start printing photos now, and make sure you use our shared Google photo albums from our website to make things easy. We have pics from the last few seasons.

MEMORY BOARD PARENT INFORMATION
Memory Boards are a great way to honor your student or athlete!
COST: $45 payable by Venmo @candy-michael-2 last 4 digits of my phone 4625, PayPal candymichael@candystampers.com, cash, check or credit card can be paid the day you are scheduled.
Includes: Instruction, if needed, on how to lay out your board as well as the following supplies:
* Black Foam 20x30 Poster Board
* Card stock in School Colors for mounting photos
* Glue Dots-1 box (with strong bond so pictures stay glued)
* Cutouts of: Senior's Name, Year, Sport/Activity Symbol
(Ex: Football, Track, Drama, Strings, Cheer etc.)
Parents will need to bring: (based on a 20x30 Foam Poster)
Approximately 18 - 26 pictures of your senior, larger pictures, 8x10 or 5x7 sizes for your focal picture if you'd like. Some bring only current pictures or high school years; some bring a mix of photos when their senior was younger and some with family members. Many use these boards for their graduation party displays after their Senior Banquet. There are samples hanging in my studio to guide you & I will help you customize the board to make your very own wonderful keepsake!
My address: Candy Stampers Home Studio, 2525 Carriage Road in Powell. It is my home, and we are across from the old horse farm just off of Liberty Rd. You can park on the lawn if not too muddy so others can get around you if they need to leave early-it's a U drive
You are welcome to bring snacks, food of any kind, wine, beer etc. This is up to your group.
I have plenty of table space, plus paper cutters & scissors for you to
use. I also offer a die cut machine (Big Shot) to cut out circles, ovals or star shapes of your pictures. It's easy to use & I will be there to show you how it works.
I will need the following information from you:
· Senior's Name: (first name or nickname that you want cut out for your board)
Please email or text me the information above giving me time to cut the names & have necessary items ready for you. You can send any time, the sooner the better. The information you send is confirmation that you will participate & be purchasing the supplies to create your Memory Board.
Kits are also available if you are not able to attend. I will have your board with all the supplies, name etc. cut & ready & we can schedule a pick up time
