Coach Whalen
Coach Kenneth Whalen is begining his 10th year as the Head Coach at OHS for both the XC and Track and Field teams. Coach Whalen's wife, Mary, teaches Physics at OHS.
You will often see Coach Whalen’s daughter, Catey (a 10th grader at OHS), and his son, Eddie, (a 8th grader at SMS) helping at XC and track meets. Coach Whalen also has a dog named “Difford.”
Coach Whalen grew up in NW Ohio and graduated from Bryan HS.
He was later on the XC and
track and field teams at the
University of Findlay.
When he is not coaching at OHS,
Coach Whalen helps organize
area races, including the
Cap City Marathon.

Coach C
Coach Madison Cheyunski (Coach C) is beginning her fourth year coaching both OHS Boys XC and Track and Field. She used to teach English CP 10 and English CP 12 at OHS, but now works at McGraw Hill. Coach C grew up in Columbus and graduated from Pickerington HS and The Ohio State University.
When Coach C isn’t training and running marathons, shopping, hanging out with friends and binging on Netflix, she likes to love on her dog Ripley.
